Buyers Inspections

Purchase Inspection

A Non-Invasive, visual examination of a residential dwelling, which is designed to identify the observed material defects within specific components of the home.
Your Inspection is intended to assist in the evaluation of the overall l condition of the home. The Inspection is based on observations of the visible and apparent condition of the structure and its components on the date of the inspection, and not the prediction of future conditions.

New Construction Inspection

Your building a new home and want to make sure it is safe for your future needs. There are multiple stages involved in the building process. Your inspector can be available to ensure that each stage is being performed correctly.While it is likely that your construction project will be over viewed by a City Building Inspector, it is there job to ensure that your construction meets current local codes, they will not be looking for workmanship issues or other personal concerns you may have. We are able to tailor an inspection process to meet your needs.

11thMonth Warranty Inspection

Whether you are buying or building a new home most builders offer a one-year warranty on the home. We will come out during the 11thmonth and perform a full home inspection before the builder’s warranty expires.
Following your inspection you will receive a comprehensive report, complete with photos, that includes information on any material defects observed on the date of the inspection. Armed with this information, you can take any necessary steps to hold your builder and his subcontractor’s t their warranties while they are still in force.

Sellers Inspections

Move In Certified

Sellers Consultation

This consultation offers an alternative to the Move-In-Certified Inspection. Your inspector will conduct a walk-through consultation to alert you of any issues that may come to light that a buyer’s inspector may find.

Investor Inspections

As an investor you may be looking at several different properties at any given time. Scout Inspections can be performed at Open Houses, or Private Showings. We can offer hourly rates as well as multiple property pricing. Our Scout Inspection concentrates on the structural aspects of the home. Your inspector will look at:

  • Age of Heating and Cooling
  • Presence of plumbing or electrical supplies

Landlords and Renters

Many cities have a rental property inspection program that property owners must adhere to. These guidelines are set on the International Building Maintenance Code. Your inspector will review the property for compliance with local ordinance.

Property Owners:

We can set your properties on an annual inspection process to comply with local ordinance.

Renters:

Your inspector can evaluate your rental unit for compliance with the local ordinance, and assist you in contacting the proper channels.
