Boyer Chute open house on Aug. 26 changes locations
FORT CALHOUN, Neb. – The location of a Thursday, Aug. 26, open house for Boyer Chute NWR has been moved to the Fort Calhoun City Hall in Nebraska. The open house was originally scheduled at Boyer Chute NWR’s Refuge Office but was moved because of flooding in the area over the past several weeks.
Dogs available from Pottawattamie county shelter
Max is a male bloodhound mix found as a stray on Pioneer Trail in Council Bluffs. He is a little over a year old. He is very smart and playful and gets along well with other dogs. Max would love a playmate and a large yard to play in. He is housebroken and knows commands. His playmate was just adopted so Max is very lost right now. Aronia berry harvester demonstration to be held
